I had actually already checked that and it was on. That's what's
confusing me. I was running PHP4.0.0 on MacOS X Server (heh _anyone_
else doing that?)... maybe something related to that. Anyway.. I went
back to PHP3.x and all is well again until I can track down what's
going on with a test machine (my own dumb fault for installing on a
production machine without checking the new 4 first.. heh). Lesson
learned. ;)
