Fasttemplates vs. PHPLib Templates

Anyone have an opinion on the superiorities of Fast Templates vs. PHPLib's
template implementation.
Sascha did a writeup about Fast Templates, and then someone else on
PHPbuilder did one on PHPLib's. The second guy says PHPLib is better.
From what I am reading in the archives, etc., is that the PHP developers are
leaning towards building in a PHPLib-esque template implementation. So
would that be a good enough reason to go with the PHPLib stuff?
