Just a short note to save some others a few hours (days?) of wonder and
confusion.
It would appear the more complete PHP manual is available on
www.zend.com/manual not www.php.net, the one on www.php.net doesn't include
any mention of the output buffering functions + several other modules.
Also, when making calls to header() you should note that this will not
affect the order of output to the browser, that's up to the web server, in
the words of Rasmus Lerdorf "PHP can't set the order of headers. All PHP
does it fill in the response header table and Apache decides what order to
send them in." Which was news to me - I was used to perl and it's more
direct CGI control.
Apologies if this has already been posted, but I think I lost a digest in
the last 24 hrs (between email accounts).
