Hi: The differentiation between secured and normal http transfers is generally in how you set up the link: http://foo.org/ is regular https://foo.org/ is secure You don't change types of transmission on the fly depending upon the results of your script. What you CAN do is have the script for the present page determine what kind of transmission you want the NEXT page to be. If you want the next page view to be secured, you have the present HTML page present "https://" links. If you want the next page to be normal, you present links as "http://." Please note, in order for a form to be submitted securely, the form itself needs to be generated by and submitted to an "https://" URL. You can NOT have the form generated normally and then submit it to an "https://, since that is NOT secure. This was a quick, simplistic, overview from someone who's not an expert in this topic, but it shoudl do the job for you.
