Sure you can change them, that's a key feature for the user-preferences stuff. Look at this excellent page on sessions: http://www.zend.org/zend/tut/session.php (Some minor addition: you could also let the script call itself again to display the changes ) And I would personally use the =SID on the url(s) so non-cookie users still get what they want. I have some preferences (number of columns to display, sort on which column, etc.) that I'd like to store in a users session. Is it true that you can't modify a variable stored in a session? For example when a user decides they want to have 4 columns displayed instead of the current 3, I can unregister the cols variable, but can't register it again with the new value. Anyone?
