Amelia,
Have you compiled your PHP distro yourself? Also, do you have a native ODBC
driver for OpenBase on the OSX? If so, Openlink can help you cross to the
remote machine.
Best regards,
Andrew

Subject: [PHP] OpenBase connectivity?
I'm trying to connect from a php3-enabled (WebTEN) server on one Mac to
an OpenBase SQL database on a not-yet-php3-enabled Apache/Mac OS X
server. Are there php methods that support connectivity to an OpenBase
db? and how do I connect to a remote db?
i.e. If the db is located in /local/library/OpenBase/Databases/test.db
and I want to access it from the php-enabled server, what would the
string location be?
Oh, and I've also experienced problems downloading PostgreSQL to the Mac
OS X because of some GNU Make error? Any help on this one?
