argh--correction. php3 is now working on my OS X apache server (YES!!!!) but
PostgreSQL still cannot be installed!
when i'm in /usr/src/src and i do ./configure i got the following message...
checking host system type... powerpc-apple-rhapsody5.6
****************************************
configure does not currently recognize your operating system,
therefore you must do a manual configuration of:
rhapsody5.6
Please contact scrappy@hub.org to see about rectifying this,
including the above 'checking host system type...' line
****************************************
I think i have GNU make because when i type gmake --version, it says i have GNU
Make version 3.74 and gives me copyright info.
I'm emailing scrappy@hub.org about this but if you have any ideas on how i must do
a manual configuration (i'm new to unix/mac os x), please help!
thanks so much,
amelia
