I've compiled php 4.0.1pl2 on a Red Hat server I've built, but it isn't reading files. I believe the problem has to do with adding these lines of code to the file: /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php3
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
I thought it appropriate to add both, since I need to be able to read both extensions. However, I can read *neither*. I guess I've edited the file incorrectly. I simply added the above lines exactly as shown at the very beginning of the script. How should I edit it?
