First thing...you should consolidate these lines (just to make me happy)
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php3 .php
Second thing...check your apache httpd file to ensure php4 is actually in
there
/usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -l | grep "mod_php.c"
(replace the above path with whereever your httpd file is)
That command should return just the line
mod_php4.c
If it doesn't...you didn't compile PHP into apache correctly.
Failing that...what happens where you try to view a *.php page?
Do you get a server error? Does the browser prompt you to download the
page?
