Which version of PHP is typically used on commercial hosting services?

Speaking of which, I'm currently experimently/developing with PWS/PHP4/MySQL
on Windows, running PHP in ISAPI mode (no stability problems that I know
of).
I plan to productionize on a commercial hosting service later on. But now I
wonder if PHP4 was a good choice since I have no idea which version of PHP
is typically used on commercial hosting services out there. Or is it more
like a mix and match of different versions? Can anyone shed some light on
this?
