GD with PHP 3.106 on NT

I am a bit of a newbie - maybe someone here can point me in the right direction. I am unfortunately stuck working with an NT host but I have a bit of control there and I was able to install PHP on their machine and make it work with IIS4. I would very much like to get the GD library working in this scenario but I am a bit confused. I have uncommented the references to php3_gd.dll (and zlib) in the php3.ini file but this alone does not enable me to use GD yet, does it? From what I can tell, I need a version of GD compiled for windows and also installed somewhere on the system...is this right?? The module/extension php3_gd.dll is just an interface to the actual GD program right? Is there anyone out there willing to share a pre-compiled of the latest GD or is there anywhere on the web I can acquire this? This seems like something that would be commonly needed and so I'm thinking its got to be available somewhere! On www.boutell.com/gd I read something to the effect that I would also need other libraries installed to use GD (libpng , jpeg-6b or later ,zlib) Unfortunately I don't have any access to a compiler environment for NT so I was hoping to find everything precompiled, but I'm not having much luck. Can anyone out there help out a confused but eager PHP user with some step by step, retard-friendly instructions? Thanks in advance Gabe
