Hello,
I am currently in a perdicament with a server that used to be running an older expliotable version of php. sinse then I have taken it upon myself to upgrade to a newer version. Before this however PHP just stopped working so naturally I restarted Apache the first chance I got. No dice. As soon as that happened I knew I had a problem. So what I did next was go grab the newest version of PHP and compiled it as a DSO which my Apache server does support. After I did a make, and make install I checked the httpd config file to make sure the nessicary lines existed. They did, and I was still having problems after restarting the server. I then proceded to check the error_log in the /logs directory only to find that right after the server started a segmentation fault was occuring causing the server to crash. So I commented out the LoadModule line in the Apache conf file and then restarted the server. That worked but I still have no php support. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA WHY this line is causing problems please share your wisdom.
