I looked at your httpd.conf and if I'm not mistaken, no matter what type of
installation you have, you need to have an AddModule line for your php in
httpd.conf.
Yours seems to be commmented out.

Hi, it's me, DESPERATE again. I NEED to get php configured and working on
my server. I've followed the instructions in *PHP Professional* explicitly
for the installation, yet it doesn't work. To review, here are the problems:
The browers doesn't read pages as php pages. It offers them for download
instead. I've added this line to the httpd.conf:
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php3 .php
but to no avail. If anyone wants to look at my code (all generated by the
installation of the distro with the above exception), you may go here:
http://TheWebsons.com/httpd.conf
http://TheWebsons.com/php.ini-dist
http://TheWebsons.com/php.ini-optimized
Hey, if no one can take the time to help me sort this out, I understand:
we're all busy. But *where* can I find answers for this problem??? I HAVE
to get this resolved, and quickly, so I can continue to eat. PLEASE help.
Thank you,
BenO
