The ? Is just standard. It is what is added to at the end of a file to
indicate the start of query data... the format thereafter is
param1=val1¶m2=val2 (notice the variables are separated by an & sign)
Th %21, or any %dd (dd being an integer) represents the ASCII interpretation
of a character in hexadecimal format. For instance, %20 represents a space
character ' '. All of the values in the paramers I talked about above (val1,
val2) must be encoded in this way to be sent as part of a query. You can do
this with the PHP functions urlencode() and urldecode().
I hope this helps.

Subject: [PHP] URL question
http://www.mysite.com/formhandler.php?field1=TEST&field2=4ed9407&Submit=Subm
it%21
Have a look at that url.
I've simplified it a bit.
I'm looking for a definition/standard on this. So far, I haven't found
anything useful in the search engines.
Between the page name and the first field, there's a "?".. Why?
The last field, concerning "Submit", Does it need to be there?
The last bit at the end, %21.. What's it for?
I'm trying to work out how to get the result of a form by feeding a
preloaded URL to wget.
