This brings up an interesting question though, what is a practical method to monitor execution times?
I've tried it on some of my scripts, but the largest one I have takes only seven milliseconds to execute, and that number seems pretty constant, even when I vary what's going on appreciably.
I think that at least in my case, there's some static overhead that's dominating the picture.
I thought of having scripts record their execution times to the DB, if T > Tstored, then Tstored = T sort of thing.
