pkg-config is just a big wrapper. The real work of determining configuration settings is in gtk+-2.0.pc. Try running pkg-config from command line: # pkg-config --modversion gtk+-2.0 -Andrei On Apr 22, 2005, at 1:20 PM, Scott Mattocks wrote:

I had two version right after I installed but I moved the new (2.6.7) file to the right directory and replaced the old version. Does this file also point to where gtk+-2.0 is? The new version should have installed over top of the old one right? Scott
