Can't we have a simple email addy regex test at the point of 'commit'? It at least shouldn't allow people with no name to update pages anyway IMHO.

I am pretty sure we talked about this a while back when this version of the wiki was pretty new. I think the reasoning for not having any authentication system was because we didn't want to prevent anyone from contributing. It was more important not to annoy real contributors than it was to prevent spammers. Scott
