A - Okay, caveat. -- I'm only speaking for myself here. --- And speaking for myself, I've got an entire senior management that is doing a tap dance on my tush waiting for PHP-Gtk2. Just the promise of it has been enough to reassure them that there is a future where we're going, not to mention some of the features it offers. If it were here yesterday, it wouldn't be soon enough. As for the docs, speaking for myself only, I can always get what I need from the Gtk people, regardless of what is or is not on our site. I've had to do that in several cases, so I'm already used to it. I've also gotten a lot more from our discussion lists than from the docs, right from the beginning. I know that's no fun for the newcomer - I was there myself, but if it's that or no PHP-Gtk2, I think the latter is much worse.Funny .. it's the same position as I am in, exactly. As for the docs: I can't write a single page without consulting the real GTK+ API documentation anyway. Because there I know the information is definitely there. Still there are some parts missing in certain areas, but this are tiny. While I tested the List/Tree, it was unavoidable. They've plenty of tutorials and such. Also I regulary consulted the C tutorials in the source distribution and sometimes even looked up the implementation itself. Yes, this is not what newcomers do, I know. When I need to look into the php-gtk docs it's only for things written in the override files, because the usually differ to match the PHP language things. Apart from that I'm in need of a windows binary. Linux is nice, but our production operators are running windows of course. - Markus
