I didn't realize how to use drawing functions on php-gtk2... This code gives me an error:
      $a = new GdkGC($gdkwindow);
      var_dump($a);
      GdkDrawable::draw_rectangle($drawingarea, $a, 4, 4, 580, 340);
      Fatal error: Argument 1 must be an instance of GdkGC....
Does someone know how it works ?
I haven't given it a try but the error message is saying that $a needs to be the first argument. Argument positions in error messages are indexed begining at zero not one. Scott
