Scott,Yes but I still think it is a good idea to use constants as the keys instead of strings or anything else. The constants can be anything you want although my guess is integers are faster. If you return an array, you will have to define a bunch of constants for the array keys in order to make everyone's life easier. You can't expect everyone to just remember that the third element is the domain, but youI spoke of an *associative* array.
"That methods are getter method for GdkPixbufFormat. So to use these, an extra class would be needed." Yes, but they are GdkPixbuf methods and may already be implemented. I am not sure how much work will need to go into this, but you need to weigh the amount of time it will take to implement the array key constants (hopefully minimal) versus the amount of time it will take to implement a class. The class has no methods so it is basically a struct. I don't think that will be too hard either. Of course, I am not the one doing the work so I really don't know. -- Scott Mattocks http://www.crisscott.comIf the GdkPixbuf::format_* methods are already implemented it might just? Which methods?
