I just want to be able to pull a var_dump() on a widget and then know what's in it. I don't care whether it mentions GtkStyle along the way or not, so long as it doesn't mention every little style property while it's at it. At present I'm finding what should be straightforward, simple, no-flowers debugging is impossible because I get so much info per widget that the dump exceeds the limit for shell output.
What do you want to lose exactly.. Just GtkStyle? or more? -Andrei On Mar 9, 2006, at 10:27 PM, Steph Fox wrote:__________ NOD32 1.1380 (20060125) Information __________ This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system. http://www.eset.comAnyone else think this?It was me that asked to lose it in the first place... so obviously, +1! - Steph-Andrei On Mar 7, 2006, at 10:48 AM, Christian Weiske wrote:Hello all, It has been requested by Steph or Andrei (don't know), and I was the one voting against it, but now I've changed my mind: Maybe we really should remove the styles when var_dumping variables. It gives too much ouput and complicates debugging. -- Regards/MfG, Christian Weiske-- PHP-GTK Development Mailing List (http://gtk.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
