Actually Andrei, my base test script works perfectly if GtkCTreeNode is declared as a boxed type: C:\php5>php bug.php Warning: GtkCTree::__construct() is deprecated: use GtkTreeStore/GtkTreeView in C:\php5\bug.php on line 6 GtkCTree NULL From gtkctree.h (v2.6.9): /* GType for the GtkCTreeNode. This is a boxed type, although it uses * no-op's for the copy and free routines. It is defined in order to * provide type information for the signal arguments */
GType   gtk_ctree_node_get_type                  (void) G_GNUC_CONST;
Mind if I shift it back to GTK's reality? Doing so gives us: ===============================================

Hmm, it _kind_ of thinks it's a pointer... C:\php5>cat bug.php <?php $window = new GtkWindow(); $window->connect_simple('destroy', array('gtk', 'main_quit')); $ctree = new GtkCTree(2, 0); $ctree->set_size_request(300, 200); print $ctree->get_name()."\n"; $node = $ctree->node_nth(0); var_dump($node); $window->add($ctree); $window->show_all(); Gtk::main(); ?> C:\php5>php bug.php Warning: GtkCTree::__construct() is deprecated: use GtkTreeStore/GtkTreeView in C:\php5\bug.php on line 6 GtkCTree ** (bug.php:2004): CRITICAL **: file C:\sandbox\php-gtk\main\phpg_gpointer.c: line 84: assertion `pointer != ((void *)0)' failed NULL I think I've had enough of fighting with it today - I'm outti. You defined GtkCTreeNode as a pointer. (It's a 'faked' boxed type in GTK+ anyway, I think they must've had issues with it too.) I've got it to generate stuff, but I'm having problems testing the generated stuff atm... 'cos of course nothing else works around it either (pixmaps, bitmaps et al).
Pointer support?? -Andrei On Jun 18, 2006, at 12:24 PM, Steph Fox wrote:
Hi Chris,
Do you happen to have any test code lying around for anything you've marked as 'NTRVNRP' in the TODO? It'd save time if...
No, sorry. I also was away on the weekend. What's missing?
Not a lot, I was just going through the TODO last night trying to find easy things to fix :). DND works on win32 now btw (first ever time!!!!) I've spent this afternoon/eve trying to write pointer support into the generator, but I don't think it's quite right. It works, but it isn't how it's meant to be. (I think anyway.) I'll mail in with it when I've stopped playing, I won't commit this. - Steph
