Hi all, I've been working on getting PHP-Gtk2 compiling on a regular basis on Windows. I'm putting precompiled binaries in http://calliore.net/desktop/build that you can download if you'd like. I also have windows dll's, headers and libs for gtksourceview, gtkspell and libglade compiled with msvc that are available in the same location. I've also included the config headers and def files I used. If you'd like the visual studio project files for them as well give me a mail. I used msys to create the configuration for them and .def files to export symbols so I didn't have to mangle any source (well, except for one gtksourceview bugfix but I submitted it upstream). I'm currently working on getting a build system set up so I can build binaries on a regular basis. I've started building against the 2.8.x gtk libs because the gtksourceview and libglade versions I used require it and php-gtk2 doesn't seem to notice the difference. I used the latest versions of sourceview and glade because Tor Lillqvist has submitted quite a few win32 specific fixes. I'm having some problems with the php-gtk2 sourceview extension, the linker seems to be a bit insane
php_sourceview.obj : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol _phpg_gtksourcevi ew_register_constants referenced in function _php_gtk_xinit_sourceview php_sourceview.obj : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol _phpg_gtksourcevi ew_register_classes referenced in function _php_gtk_xinit_sourceview
Which is goofy because it should be finding it just fine. Even goofier because gtkspell and libglade are building just fine. I have plans to get mozemebed (and/or gtkhtml) working as well, but they're not completed yet. I'd also do scintilla but I don't have tom rogers version of the php-gtk scintilla extension and anant's version requires gtkscintilla which refuses to cooperate with me on windows (and isn't really maintained anyway) If someone could take some time to help me hunt down the sourceview problem I'd appreciate it, and does anyone have a copy of Tom's scintilla extension they could send my way? I'd be more helpful with finishing up the code coverage except for the fact that I'm more likely to break something, this is my first brush with C and I really don't know what I'm doing yet :) Thanks, Elizabeth Smith
