I've been using your extension, Anant, for gtkspell, you still had a download lying around. I managed to get gtkspell compiled for windows, wrote a config.win32 for it and voila, it compiles.
I haven't played with it too much yet but it hasn't crashed so far and appears to work fine (not sure if you have to have aspell installed on the box as well - I already did for gaim :)
I'll see if I can get that scintilla building (the regular scintilla extension even has a makefile for msvc - that makes me sooo happy)
