Steph, i think you understand me wrong, but, i'm trying to tell is that if
you get the lastest version
(as all new guys will do) and try to search google or other locations for
tutorials (cause nobody that
are starting, start at the manual, you know :), that applications will not
run :/. So i'm afraid that people
that get php-gtk (not me, not you) get this great programming language, and
get frustate because they
can't compile their older applications or older codes that teach things,
etc, etc. And we all know that
manual will not cover everything for new programmers, so, i think that we
need to make some kind of
php-gtk that do things like delphi or c++ that you get codes from Delphi 1,
and still can compile on delphi 6
or 7. I mean, people don't like to lost their codes because they are
upgrading, just look at register_globals of
PHP, they didn't remove that , they just disable in the newer versions, and
will remove in version 5 of PHP
i think this is a good thing to do.
