Gtk+ 2.2 or 2.4?

We need to make a decision whether to base PHP-GTK 2 on Gtk+ 2.2 or 2.4.
The reason is not that 2.4 has different API, but rather that it has
more bugfixes and features. It is also what PyGtk supports currently.
Thoughts?
