By the way: I've seen that Photoshop is dynamically rendering Icons for its *.psd files which will be shown in the explorer. I think it would be nice to implement something like this to the PHP-Gkt2 windows version. At moment I don't know how it works exactly, but I think this can be discovered.
What do you think about this?
That's already the case. If you associate your script files (.php) with
php.exe or php-win.exe in PHP5 you will get a small PHP logo. If you use
php_win.exe you will get a php-gtk logo.
Hi! I dont mean that. Photoshop provides different logos for each *.psd file which is based on some meta informations of the file itself.
So for example if you got a file 'foo.psd' with a 500x500dot matrix in white, the icon of the file 'foo.psd' is shown as a white matrix only. If you got a file 'bar.psd' with a 700x300dot matrix and to crossing layers in it, it will show a protract cross as icon.
You know what I whant to tell? The *.psd file itself defines the Icon it gots, so each *.psd file got their on icon such like the exe files have got.
