I've just committed code that implements access to GTK object properties. Try this:
$r = new GdkRectangle(0, 1, 20, 21);
var_dump($r->x, $r->y, $r->width, $r->height);
But wait, there's more!
$w = new GtkWindow();
$w->mine = 'i am art vandelay';
var_dump($w);
