Thankfully there are linux users who have hit this issue already. I'm quoting csnyder@chxo.com's note from http://gtk.php.net/manual/en/installunix.php "Simple solution to PHP_GTK_ARG_ENABLE problem detailed below. This must be added to this page and the README, please oh please! ./buildconf aclocal ./buildconf (again!) ./configure make make install" Please let me know if it works, I'll definitely add it to the manual page if so! - Steph > -----Original Message----- > From: Trevor Morrison [mailto:trevor@hailix.com] > Sent: 02 January 2004 16:59 > To: php-gtk-general@lists.php.net > Subject: [PHP-GTK] Compile problems > > > Hi, > > I am trying to install the php-gtk software on my RH 9 box and I am > getting the following compile error: > .... > checking for PHP includes... -I/usr/include/php -I/usr/include/php/main > -I/usr/include/php/Zend -I/usr/include/php/TSRM > checking for PHP extension directory... > /usr/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20020429 > checking for re2c... exit 0; > checking for gawk... gawk > checking for PHP-GTK support... yes, shared > checking for gawk...
