As a side note on this: The brazilian PHP-GTK page seems alive and well.. http://www.php-gtk.org.br/ It translates badly in google or babelfish but it seems to be often updated and code is code if people need examples.

As a related side note, I would like to mention that the PHP Classes has been leading many local users to sites like php-gtk.org.br by the means of exposure of banners of these sites that are showed specifically to users of the respective countries, Brazil in this case. This is part of an initiative started by the PHP Classes site a long time ago to promote the regional PHP communities so they can grow and help evangelizing PHP communities world wide. If you have a regional site dedicated to relevant PHP extensions and applications or a PHP user group, feel free to contact me privately so I can tell you how you can benefit from the localized exposure that the PHP Classes site can offer. -- Regards, Manuel Lemos PHP Classes - Free ready to use OOP components written in PHP http://www.phpclasses.org/ PHP Reviews - Reviews of PHP books and other products http://www.phpclasses.org/reviews/ Metastorage - Data object relational mapping layer generator http://www.meta-language.net/metastorage.html
