As a PHP programmer coming from the Web I could care less about sticking to
the GTK API. :) I have to learn GTK from scratch anyway.
The question is: would PHP-GTK like to cater mainly to GTK programmers coming
from any other programming language, or to PHP (aka Web) programmers who want
to use GTK? Is PHP-GTK more about GTK (being bound to yet another language)
or about PHP (using a new interface after the Web and CLI)?
For the first part I'd say let's stick to the API. For the second I'd say
let's have our own interface implemented the way it makes most sense -- the
way it would be if people could afford to rewrite GTK from scratch and not
care about backwards compatibility -sort of way.
