Downloaded the 5.2 zip and modified the php.ini for our requirements (mysql, etc). Added libraries from the latest nts file. Won't work at all on our Win2k servers. Freeaddrinfo error, probably followed by Getaddrinfo errors, but we can't make it that far. That's a deal-breaker for us. Went ahead and tried it out on my WinXP PC. Got into our app, but found most of the graphics don't really work. Entry fields don't display cursor or entered data, multi-tab screen labels don't display at all, button accelerators are not valid.... etc. Our most recent Ubuntu compile works just fine with existing code. Obviously missed something important. Not sure what. thanks, Madeleine D. Elizabeth M Smith wrote:
I have some windows snapshots for php-gtk You can find them at http://perisama.net/downloads/php-gtk-snaps/ Note that these are VC6 builds, because all the gtk.org binaries for windows are built with mingw and are not compatible with VC9 This includes the PECL cairo extension as well, note that php-gtk now has a dependency on this (just make sure you load it in your php-cli.ini file) Looks like we need a php-gtk release here shortly, so if users could test these I'd appreciate it. You should be able to use newer versions of PHP in the same series (php 5.3.1 with the 5.3. zip, php 5.2.12 with the 5.2 zip) just copy the newer binaries over the old. Thanks, Elizabeth Smith
