Hi All,
I am looking into using PHP-GTK for a very simple cross platform CAD/CAM
application similar to gSimple. I am looking for the best way to produce
pixel by pixel drawing and higher level drawings. The GtkDrawableArea seems
to be the most likely option but the docs are lacking. I did find a sample
of drawing on the GdkWindow object by calling GtkWindow->window.
I have some questions:
1. Is the GtkDrawable object the best way to go?
2. If so, what methods can be used, how do I access a pixel, and where can I
find documentation?
3. If not, what would be the proper (or best) approach to drawing on a pixel
by pixel bases?
4. Is PHP-GTK stake or still being supported?
5. Will Gtk support the loading of xml (glade) files produced by Glade ?
6. Is there a version of Glade that supports PHP ?
Thanks for the help. This is a great project that has not been given proper
support or publicity. Other than an article a few years ago in PHP Architec
I can't recall every seeing it in the media. Other than the samples on
PHP_Gtk Cookbook site there are few samples of code for developers. SO any
help would be greatful.
