Hi, I guess on #5 I missed the "3". PHP-Gtk does not support glade 3 files or at least I can't get them to load... Glade 1.2 files load fine. It would be nice if Glade created event function wrappers to reduce work. It really would be simple to have Glade write a php source file similar to the C/C++ files it can produce for default handlers. At the moment C/C++ files can be edited or you can manually write them. But it would be nice if true php files with stub event handlers and the default close handler were created for you. Like the old windows resource editors use to do. There is nothing special about this. Just as there is nothing special about the C/C++ source produced by Glade. It just speeds development in large projects and my php projects are getting larger and moving from being web only to web and desktop. While I have in the passed used php for the server side and C++ for the client side on large projects with php5 and especially php6 I can see it making more sense to keep the whole project in one language when possible. Using C++ only for hardware or speed critical (with Asm) portions of code. I really think PHP-Gtk and WinBnder where a head of their time when they were first developed. Php is now catching up and I think we'll see more php development for the desktop if the support tool mature. Sample source follows: <?php /** * Project comments here */ class <project class name> extends <php-gtk object> { /** * Function comments here */ function __construct() { parent::__construct(); } /** * Function comments here */ function <my event handler> () { } /** * Function comments here */ function close_event () { } } ?> Bruce Weirdan wrote: > > On Sat, May 1, 2010 at 9:54 PM, Monotoba <rmorgan62@gmail.com> wrote: > >> 5.
