compiles fine - doesn't run though

I'm running the latest version of Debian with all the correct libs. PHP with GTK
compiled just great. php -v yields "4.0.5-dev" or the latest CVS version as of
a few days ago when I compiled. But when I run a test program I get this:

Which would lead me to believe there is a serious problem trying to load the
library. php_gtk.so is in the directory stated above ... I'm lost.
Any help would be great!
