Hi,
I tried doing the compile twice - once with apxs and once without - but I have a problem with make in the second case. Also, from the Install document I understand that we are not supposed to compile twice. The document says that CLI & CGI will install by default unless we disable it in the configure. I don't understand what is happening. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
suresh

I have successfully upgraded the dynamic php but when I do a php -v it still shows my php version to be 4.2.2. I tested the php version on the webserver and it is 4.3.1. I am not sure what is happening. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, sureshDoing "php -v" will run the command line version. When you compiled php 4.3.1 did you compile it twice, once for static or module integration with Apache and once to make the command line executable?
