Hi All,
I am installing php-4.3.1 with apache 1.3.27 on Redhat 7.2
I am compiling them both (no rpms!)
Apache runs fine with the following installation commands:
/configure --enable-module=so --enable-shared=max
make and then make install.
Then I compile PHP as follows:
make clean.
/configure --with-mysql=/usr
--with-axps=/usr/local/apache/bin/axps
make
make install
When I start apache like this:
/usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl stop
/usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start
I get the following error:
Syntax error on line 206 of /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/lib/apache/libphp4.so into server: /usr/lib/apache/libphp4.so: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory
/usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start: httpd could not be started
This error is resulting because the file libphp4.so is not being created by the above steps.
I think it should it be?
Has anyone got any suggestions?
Thankyou very much,
James Delaney
