I read through the configure script to determine what is happening and it appears as though the script successfully finds the header and shared library files but fails a test where it seems to be trying to determine the version of the SDK. I don't really understand most of what is happening in the configure script, but it appears to be searching for the function pfproInit() for version 3 and PNInit() for version 2. The 3.0.6 version of the SDK certainly does contain the pfproInit() function so I have no idea why the configure script is unable to successfully determine that I have version 3 of the SDK.
