I'm running apache 2.0.45 on Solaris 9 with the latest php source files (4.5.0).
I ran './configure' with only the following options:
--with-mysql=/path/to/mysql
--with-apxs2=/path/to/apxs
The 'make' and 'make install' processes completed without errors.
The httpd.conf file was only altered to include:
1) LoadModule php4_module modules/libphp4.so
2) (Not sure this is required)
ScriptAlias /php/ "/usr/apache/php/"
<Directory "/usr/apache/php">
AllowOverride None
Order allow,deny
Allow from all
</Directory>
3) AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
Configuration resulted as follows:
httpd - /usr/apache/bin
libphp4.so - /usr/apache/modules
php.ini - /usr/local/lib
php directory - /usr/local/lib
php Bourne shell script - /usr/local/bin
When I call 'test.php' (in /usr/apache/php) via:
http://localhost/test.php
I receive a 404 - Not found error!
When I call 'test.php' via:
http://localhost/php/test.php
I receive a 500 - Server error! with the message:
Premature end of script headers: info.php
If I run the pbp Bourne shell script via:
$php -i
I recive the error:
/usr/local/bin/php: error: /usr/local/bin/.libs/php does not exist
This script is just a wrapper for php.
See the libtool documentation for more information.
Well, I'm new to php and at a loss. Can anyone straighten me out?
Thanks for any help,
Graeme
