Hi there, I have the following problem: I have a running apache server (1.3.14) with mod_perl (1.24.1) and mod_ssl (2.7.1) up and running. I have mod_so, httpd_core and mod_mime built into apache. mod_perl and mod_ssl are built in to. I used the following switches to built apache: --enable-rule=SHARED_CORE --enable-module=so --prefix=/usr/local/apache --logfiledir=/var/log --runtimedir=/var/run --mandir=/usr/local/man --sysconfdir=/etc/apache The switches I used for php (4.0.3.pl1) are: --prefix=/usr/local/php --sysconfdir=/etc/php --mandir=/usr/local/man --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/axs --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql # MySQL is up[ and running on this machine When I enable the php module in httpd.conf I can't connect to my server via http. The only info I find is in the apache logfile. Here is the output: [Wed Dec 13 12:17:03 2000] [notice] Apache/1.3.14 (Unix) PHP/4.0.3pl1 mod_perl/1.24_01 mod_ssl/2.7.1 OpenSSL/0.9.5a configured -- resuming normal operations If I try to connect to my server, in the logfile appears: [Wed Dec 13 12:20:13 2000] [motice] child pid 23005 exit Segmentation fault (11) for all of the httpds running. Everything works fine if I disable PHP in httpd.conf, but this doesn't help me. I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed PHP!!!!! Any suggestions? I'm running a Slack 7.1 linux box with kernel 2.2.16 and oh ... it's a 486 with 12 MB RAM and 32 MB swap.... (xcuse, I didn't get anything better for test purposes). It's not SUCH a fun to recompile and recompile and ... on SUCH a machine. The only thing I don't know, is where to place php.ini to. The INSTALL file doesn't say anything about this. Thanks for any help Frank
