Apache module configuration question

Hello!! I'm newbie on that list. I have a small problem. I want to upload files on particular server using PHP methods. But I have a directory permission problem. I notice, that some servers has set up the privileges of PHP module, that any directory or file, which is uploaded, has the owner set to home directory owner (exacly account owner). It means, the file I have uploaded, isn't nobody/nobody property but mike/users (when my account is 'mike'). Haw can I manage it in my configurations files? Thanks. Regards. Mike Izydorski
