PHP 4 & APACHE TOGETHER

Hi to all
I am trying to post-install my php so that Apache can use its module. in
the INSTALL as it is dscribed, I entered the commands
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache/
--activate-module=src/modules/php4/libphp4.a
then a
make
this one ended with an error message ( or rather may error messages)
like:

Does somebody understand its meaning and can help me solving this
problem?
