Install With Sybase-CT Problems

I keep getting a segmentation fault during my 'make' when I try to compile in the
sybase-ct options. I have downloaded and untarred the necessary libraries, am I missing a step
here? I am running RH 6.1, Apache 1.3.12, php4.03pl1, freetds0.51, and downloaded the ctlib-elf
tar file off of the php.net site. Trying to connect to SQL7 running on NT4, any help or suggestions
would be useful.
