AIX 4.3.3 + IPlanet 4.1 install problem

Hello... I am trying to install PHP 4.0.4 as an NSAPI module for IPlanet 4.1 (sp5) on an AIX 4.3.3 box. I've already relinked the linphp4.so module to load ns-httpd code at runtime as opposed to loadtime (per Netscape's relink script, plugins compiled for NES 3.x have to compiled with -G flag or relinked to work with IWS 4.x). I get the following error on startup: Status: [https-fradkin]: start failed.
