Hi all,
I had compiled 4.0.3pl1 on Tru64 5.1 and got it to work, then I'm trying to
compile the 4.0.4 update now and get an error:
cc: Error: scanf.h, line 48: There is no definition for the inline function
named scan_set_error_return in this compilation unit. (noinlfunc)
inline void scan_set_error_return(int numVars,pval **return_value);
------------^
I couldn't get 4.0.3pl1 or any prior version to compile right on Digital
Unix 4.0b before, and 4.0.4 compiled there without trouble, I only had to
not include the MM support, which would prevent loading the dso.
I compared the scanf.h file in both 4.0.3pl1 and 4.0.4 and see no
difference. 4.0.4 compiles on 4.0 but not 5.1, why is that???
I'm using apache's apxs, the Tru64 cc compiler and these configure flags:
CC="cc" \
CFLAGS="-pthread -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -DEAPI
-I/usr/local/include" \
CXX="c++" \
LDFLAGS="-pthread" \
How can I fix this and make it compile??
