PHP 4.0.4
I've sinced managed to get things to work - but I'm sure this would
qualify as a "hack" -
In the config.mk file for ext/java I commented out the
ADD_LIBRARY($JAVA_LIB) call and its surrounding if statement. This
allows configure to complete successfully. However, ext/java doesn't
compile correctly (fails with an error I don't recall).
I was able to fix this, too, by modifying JAVA_CFLAGS in config.mk with
hard-coded values for my setup. It appears that whatever autoconf does
with the config.mk file doesn't actually end up working for some reason
... I believe I have autoconf 1.4 (that's reported when I run buildconf*
to regenerate configure after making changes to the config.mk)
In any case - I actually got it all to compile, if you'd like a diff
from my config.mk to the dists, I can attach that to an e-mail.
