Hi
I am running Caldera Linux (2.2.10 kernel), Apache 1.3.6, MySQL 3.22.29
(rpm) and I have downloaded the php 4.0.2 source.
When I attempt to configure php I get the output below.
checking for flex... no
checking for lex... no
./configure: flex: command not found
checking for flex... lex
checking for yywrap in -ll... no
checking lex output file root... ./configure: lex: command not found
configure: error: cannot find output from lex; giving up
[root@www php-4.0.2]#
I have no idea what "lex" is. Could anyone tell me what it is and where I
get it from please?
Thanks heaps for reading this
Neil
