help with bring up apache server with PHP module.....

I have followed steps 1- 18 for installing PHP with Apache Module (on a Linux server). But when I try to being up the newly installed Apache server with the PHP module I recieve the following error: $ /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start httpd: cannot determine local host name. Use the ServerName directive to set it manually. /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start: httpd could not be started I have checked that /etc/ httpd/conf/httpd.conf has the following : # ServerName localhost # I can even ping to localhost. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated ! Regards, Donna.
