Christian:
I resolved the issue I wrote about, but it had nothing to do with where
the location of php.ini was, or what I place in the "include_path"
line. The initial "test.php" file I used, was actually called
"1-1.php", a file I pulled directly off of the cd from a "Core PHP
Programming" book I picked up. I had planned to call it "test.php", but
I did not. Anyhow, as kind of a last resort, I renamed the file
"test.php" and the code worked as intended. This seems strange, and I
did some testing with renaming the file to 1-2.php, and other such
names, and they all worked (yes, I cleared out my browser cache) except
from the name "1-1.php". Anybody have any ideas? Anyhow, thanks for
your help, and I'll go forward from here.
