Hi All, I'm rather new to PHP, and was just wondering if someone could explain to me what I'm doing wrong here; OS: Solaris 7 1. checkout php4 and Zend from the cvs repo. 2. run buildconfig in the php4 dir, like it says in the docs. and everything works fine, I have the correct versions of everything. icarus:php/src/php4/php4# ./buildconf buildconf: checking installation... buildconf: autoconf version 2.13 (ok) buildconf: automake version 1.4 (ok) buildconf: libtool version 1.3.3 (ok) rebuilding Makefile templates rebuilding configure rebuilding acconfig.h rebuilding php_config.h.in 3. run configure, like so: ./configure --with-apache=/products/apache/src/apache_1.3.9 \ --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-gd=/usr/local ...but when I try to compile I get the following: icarus:php/src/php4/php4# make Making all in Zend make: Fatal error: Don't know how to make target `../config.status' Current working directory /export/home2/products/php/src/php4/Zend *** Error code 1 make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `all-recursive' Sort of looks like it's trying to run the configure script again and using the autoconf config.status file as the dependency... Though it didn't work for some reason and I'm not sure why... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Cove
